Hello lovelies!
As some of you may know, I’m trying to revamp and this site and my radio show! For this reason, I’ve decided that I want to bring on another gamer girl contributor to work with NightHawk42 (who’ll be back soon!).
As many of you know, I have never been good at video games, so I am looking for a gamer girl contributor to do one post every two weeks on the site. You would work with NightHawk42 and myself to bring the readers really great information about relationships, gaming, and being a gamer girl. Sometimes you would have specific writing assignments, but other times you would be able to write about whatever you want! This is an unpaid position, but it would provide great exposure and it would be tons of fun! Plus, you may also be able to help me host my radio show, which is loosely connected to the blog! I really think this blog could be big, and I would love to start building a great team of writers. 🙂
If you’re interested in writing, send your name, your pen name (if you want to use one), a picture (for the site if you’re chosen), and a two paragraph writing sample to domesticmajestic@gmail.com. The sample can just be a quick review of a game you like! If I like your application, I will email you back with more details!

A Girl's Guide to a Gamer Guy: 
I’ve a question DomesticMajestic…are you looking for a woman to occupy the slot on your team of writers, or can anyone of any gender send in their ‘application’? I’m not a girl (as you may notice by my photo) but I’ve been playing video games since I was three and a couple of the gamers I on occasion play with are women.
On a side note, there are a couple of women gamers on WordPress that I follow – Recollections on Play and CheeeseToastie – who may be helpful.
Well, as of right now I am looking specifically for a female. However, if as the site begins to grow I would love to expand it to get the male perspective! When I do, you will be the first persons contact! 🙂

Good luck with your search! I hope you find someone good, I know it can be very difficult to find writers, especially with specific terms like that. Normally I would try out for something like this – it sounds so interesting and definitely something I’d want to do – but I’ve got too much work at the moment. Anyway, best of luck, and looking forward to seeing a new face!
Thanks! I actually found two people that I really like who’ll both be contributors! One is going to be talking about indie games and relationships, the other about newer games and new items. I’m really excited! 🙂
